Updated COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

Masks: At this time, dance teachers and students are required to wear a mask for the entire duration of their time within the facility. Tiny Tots are not required to wear a mask.

Screening: Each student is required to wait at the front desk before their class so staff can ask them our COVID screening questions. Parents also have the option of calling the club to answer these questions for their child. Since Tiny Tot parents are permitted to enter the club, they are to answer these screening questions for their child.

Hand Sanitizer: Hand sanitizing stations are set up in each dance studio so dancers can immediately sanitize their hands when entering the room.

Parents: Parents are not allowed in the facility when dropping their child off at dance, with the exception of Tiny Tot dancers. Parents may drop their child off at the door 5 minutes before their class and wait outside for their child to finish their class. Please be on time when picking up your child.
*Tiny Tot parents may enter the gym 5 minutes prior to the start of their child’s class.
Please, only one parent/guardian per child. Parents must wear a mask and wait with their child either in the lobby at our west location or in the hallway outside the club doors at our east location until the teacher arrives to collect the students. Once students are collected, parents must leave the facility until pick-up time. Parents may then reenter the club 5 minutes before the end of their child’s class but no sooner, and wait either in the lobby at West or the hallway at East.

Entering and Exiting: Please drop off your child no more than 5 minutes before the start of their class. Dancers can independently walk through the facility to the dance room and wait outside on the bench until the teacher allows them inside. Markers will be taped on the bench to provide spacing between students. When class is finished, the teacher will accompany the students to the lobby at the west location and the hallway at the east location, to make sure that each student gets picked up by their parent/
guardian.

Personal Items: Dancers are required to bring their own water bottles as the water fountains are closed at this time. Dancers may only use the fountains for refilling their bottles. Please ensure that your child’s dance bag is big enough to hold all of their personal items with the exception of their outdoor shoes. There will be shoe mats for the students to store their outdoor shoes outside the dance room. When entering the facility, dancers must take off their coats and roll them into their dance bags where they will
stay until it is time to go home. Please have your child bring only what they need!

Cleaning: High-touch surfaces such as the dance barres, benches, door knobs, yoga mats, etc, are cleaned in between each class. Staff have 10 minutes between classes to clean so please be prompt when picking up your child. Studios are fully cleaned and sanitized each night.

Dance Space: Six foot squares are taped onto the dance floor so that students remain at least 6 feet apart as much as possible.

llness: If your child is feeling ill for any reason, please inform the studio and keep them home.
